What is Sliced?

Sliced is a cool readers' depot, a recruitment vehicle for publishers, and a great promotional site for all authors and artists featured.
The whole idea for Sliced is to connect the author with the reader audience in a closer way than ever before. Since only short stories are permitted on the site, the chances of them being of great quality are much higher. This web-space does not cater to any specific publisher, but welcomes ALL viewing publishers to review the authors/artists here for potential work.

This very unique project was born to create a web-site that will present one-or-two-page short stories to feature authors, artists, photographers, models and their work. This would also include “art-shorts”, meaning a short story that exhibits art or photographic scenes. Each featured artist on the site will have their own "On-Going" page. Under their named page, a collection of their work will be showcased to viewers as it grows.

It will include a bio of the person, a source of links to their work, as well as related videos, reviews, and commentary promoting their craft toward their targeted viewers.

This might seem like a site built for authors and artists, but in reality it’s built to appease viewers and give the audience a more personal touch to their favorite creators and genera.

Submissions Guidelines:

If you are an author, poet, photographer, artist, actor, or model that would like to be featured here, just follow the guidelines below.

For Authors & Poets:
Send a bio of yourself with your submission on MS Word or Word-Pad. The stories can only be 1 or 2 pages maximum and must be a completed work, NOT a segment or continued story. You may send in links to your sites you are active on, as well as any related photography or video links.

For Artists & Photographers:
Send a bio of yourself, as well as a paragraph on the type of work you do. You can also add some captions and words to the art & photography you submit. It’s preferred that you send no more than 3 pieces of work at a time.

For Models & Actors:
Send a bio of yourself, with any credits to the work you’ve appeared in. You can also send in a resume that would appear in digital format on your personal page. Also send in a paragraph about your motives and goals, especially concerning the field of horror and science fiction.

A Note to Visitors
